international competition was held to find an artistic proposal, and the
Malaysian sculpture studio SCULPTUREATWORK won the contract with its idea of
‘voices from the people’
• There
are also dozens of metal sculptures scattered around the old part of the city,
mainly showing life as it was in the early days of settlement.

Hai everyone, today I would like to share some of information about a place that I interested in and eager to go which is Seoul, Korea.
A) PLACE
First of all, Seoul, Korea is a capital city of South Korea and considered a megacity because it has a population of over ten million people, with nearly half of its 10,208,302 people residing in the National Capital Area (which also includes Incheon and Gyeonggi.Throughout its history, Seoul was known by a number of different names, and the name Seoul itself is believed to have originated from the Korean word for capital city, Seoraneol. As with its long history, the Seoul Capital Area contains five UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Changdeok Palace, Hwaseong Fortress, Jongmyo Shrine, Namhansanseong and the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty.
C) INTAGIBLE MEANING
Seoul is doing a fabulous job in
keeping Korean culture and traditions alive. Take the National
Museum of Korea, for instance. It
displays over 12,000 artifacts in six permanent exhibition sections, including
medieval and early modern history, calligraphy and painting, sculpture and
crafts and Asian arts. Those people who enjoy the culture of a place and love
arts are suitable to go there.
C) UNIVERSAL CONCEPTS
One of the best things about Seoul is that because of it being the country’s capital, you’ll find an abundant number of historic sites and attractions in the city. Gyeongbokgung Palace, for example, is an absolute must-visit when in town. The palace was built in 1395 and served as the home to Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings’ households, as well as the government of the Joseon Dynasty. You can also visit more recent historic sites, such as the War Memorial of Korea, dedicated to those who gave their lives during the Korean War. There is also a vast museum with over 10,000 artifacts on display at indoor and outside exhibition halls.
D) IDENTIFY AUDIENCE
As for Seoul, Korea person
that are travelling there is more to teenagers.Teenagers love to travel there
as their love to the culture in Korea. Others than that, teenagers love the
entertainment there. For those married couple are also suitable to having their
honeymoon there. Seoul, korea is one of the best romantic city.
